Cancellation or non-attendance of a scheduled appointment may incur fees. Notification of cancellation of a scheduled appointment is required with more than 48 hours notice, weekends excluded, for sustainable trading allowing service continuity. Late notice necessitates application of this cancellation policy of the following fees in accordance with professional bodies recommendations:

• Late attendance: Full appointment fee

• 0-24 hours’ notice of cancellation, weekends excluded: Full appointment fee

• 24-48 hours’ notice of cancellation, weekends excluded: 50% of the appointment fee

• >48 hours’ notice of cancellation: Nil appointment fee

Outstanding fees will result in discontinuation of service provision. Dr Kristen Lovric reserves the right to exercise discretion and request full upfront payment before scheduling further sessions where there has been a default. Cancellation fees may only be waived where exceptional circumstances apply. While a text message reminder service is endeavoured, this is as a curtosey only and clients are responsible for fees associated with late notice of cancellation/non-attendance, again, for sustainable trading allowing service continuity. Please note that Medicare rebates are unable to be processed for fees associated with appointments cancelled, missed, rescheduled or otherwise.
